Music & Literature is a publication and non-profit organization devoted to publishing and promoting the work of underrepresented artists from around the world. Each print issue of Music & Literature assembles an international cast of writers and critics in celebration of three featured artists whose work has yet to reach its deserved audience.

The visual identity for the bi-annual print edition joins typographic shorthand with reduced musical notation. Set within a square, the identity elements re-combine with the cover art for each new issue: a graphic score, a type-written letter, and hand-written composition. The names of the featured artists appear on each cover; issue contributors are listed on the back.
